Tempranillo, merlot & cabernet sauvignon.
PDO Ribera del Duero.


Grape varieties: 5% of Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% of Merlot and 85 % of Tinta fina (Tempranillo). Harvest: Mechanical harvesting and at night, in the first week of October 2011. Fermentation: Made of stainless steel tanks truncated. Made at a controlled temperature of about 24 ºC to maintain the aroma potential of grapes. Macerations: For 14 days. Barrel:: Aged in French oak barrels for about 24 -28 weeks. Clarification and Stabilization: Clarified protein with type clarifiers. The wine has not undergone tartaric stabilization. Bottled: After spending a few months in tanks, to foster their development in large volume, the wine was bottled in the month of December 2012. Alcohol: 14%. Cork: Synthetic. Label: Original paint of Eva Zoé to Bodegas Peñafiel. Tasting Notes: Wine bright red robe, with violet hues and shiny black. Complex and intense nose, in which the notes of berries along with herbal nuances provided by the Cabernet, are in perfect harmony with the notes provided by the French oak barrels, nice roasted, toffee and a hint of coffee. The entrance is giving strong sense of volume while roundness. Tannin seen provided by the barrel and to be taming the bottle, round and high persistence. Service Temperature: 14-16ºC
